The education department has established a comprehensive new graduate program that is designed to transition recently licensed Registered Nurses into their new roles.
In addition, the education department in conjunction with specialty
departments (Operating Room and Emergency Department) has established boot camps to allow transitioning nurses to get didactic and hands on training in those areas while also receiving strong mentorship and coaching by their clinical peers. Also, areas such as Critical Care and Family Birthplace participate in a collegial consortium providing basic education for nurses new to the specialty that allows for quality care for our patients.”
